March 17 is Julia's Birthday.

Julia Cobb is the founder of the JuCan Foundation and I had the pleasure of getting to know her and her family. You know there are certain people who make a lifelong impact on your life and Julia is one of those on mine. Who knew someone only 7 years old could teach me so much about life.
I met Julia back in 2012 at Miss Kemah. She was being honored on stage as Little Miss Kemah, with her sister, Jenna, and we had an instant connection. Julia was being treated for Ewing's Sarcoma at MD Anderson. After a short conversation after the pageant with her, her sister, and her mom, Jennifer, I fell in love with the family. From Build-a-Bear lunches to afternoons at the Houston aquarium to chats during Julia's treatment, my love for the family only grew stronger.
Julia went home with Jesus on October 29, 2013 and her legacy lives on forever through the JuCan Foundation.
